What is 〜たって?
〜たって is the casual equivalent of ても, meaning "even if" or "even though." It's used in informal conversation to express concession or contrast.
雨が降ったって、行くよ
"Even if it rains, I'll go"
お金がなくたって、幸せだ
"Even without money, I'm happy"
誰が何と言ったって、やめない
"No matter what anyone says, I won't stop"
Formation
Pattern: Plain form + って
With verbs:
Dictionary form: 行く → 行くたって / 行ったって
た-form: 行った → 行ったって
Negative: 行かない → 行かなくたって
With い-adjectives:
高い → 高くたって (Even if it's expensive)
良い → 良くたって (Even if it's good)
ない → なくたって (Even without)
With な-adjectives and nouns:
静か → 静かだって (Even if it's quiet)
学生 → 学生だって (Even if (you're) a student)
