Learn Japanese pre-noun adjectivals (連体詞) that can only modify nouns. Master words like 大きな, 小さな, あの, この, and other special modifiers.

What are Pre-noun Adjectivals?

Pre-noun adjectivals (連体詞 rentaishi) are special words that can ONLY modify nouns directly - they cannot be used as predicates or stand alone. Unlike adjectives, they never take です/だ and always come before nouns. Common examples include 大きな, 小さな, この, あの, どの, and いわゆる.
