What is の Nominalization?
の nominalization turns verbs, adjectives, and entire clauses into noun phrases by adding の after the plain form. This is like adding "-ing" in English (e.g., "reading is fun"). The の acts as a placeholder noun meaning "the act of" or "the thing of."

"Sleeping early is important"
