What is こそ?

こそ (koso) is a powerful emphasis particle that highlights the preceding word or phrase as the key, essential, or precise element. It's stronger than は or が and adds meaning like "precisely," "exactly," "none other than," or "it is... that really matters."

Kore koso kotae da.

Basic Usage

Structure

こそ replaces or attaches to particles:

[Noun/Phrase] + こそ + [Predicate]
